Pure white, relatively large, salvia-like flowers on the tops of the stems. Rough, hairy, scented, dark green, oval leaves on upright stems. Makes solid clumps but can occasionally produce a seedling. 45 to 60cm. May / June. Extremely good in dry shade. One of our favourites. Syn subsp. albida
