Saturday 27th January Myddelton House Gardens - the Ultimate Snowdrop sale. 10.30am to 12pm. Garden entry free. Entry to plant sale area £3.50. Proceeds to Myddelton House. This has been organized to start the season in style and has become the best British snowdrop sale in the country. Sunday 4th February A new snowdrop event at East Ruston Old Vicarage, East Ruston, Norfolk, NR12 9HN. Six nurseries selling a wide range of snowdrops and other Spring flowers. Lecture by Ben Potterton on newly discovered Norfolk snowdrops. All facilities. East Ruston has been gradually building up a collection of snowdrops which will be open for the first time. Sunday 18th of February Snowdrops and Spring Flowers. A new event at Great Comp Garden, Comp Lane, Platt, Borough Green, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 8QS. Plant sale, lecture, lunches and teas, garden. 10am to 12pm. Entry £7.00. Some of the best snowdrop nurseries will be there also; alpines, hellebores, salvias and many Spring bulbs. The garden is well-known for salvias but has snowdrops and is especially rich in Leucojum. This is becoming really successful.
Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th February The biggest and best German snowdrop event taks place at the Oirlicher Blumengarten, Oirlich 9, 41334 Nettetal – Hinsbeck, and the Zum Mühlenberg, Germany. From 10am. Lots of nurseries, other stalls, good food and garden. A huge range of plants will be available. Contact Rudi Bauer at email: firstname.lastname@example.org or just turn up.
